Savings

What kind of savings can we expect from the system?
In most cases the cost of the Dry Lubrication system is less expensive than the cost to purchase detergent alone. The system is provided as a 100% outsourcing service, monthly costs include everything necessary for proper work of system, such as lubricant consumption, technology amortization, service and full time guarantee during contract length (three years at least) and also guarantee of system functionality (neither delays nor shut-downs).

The Dry Lube system is extremely cost effective; it reduces or eliminates the costs of water, effluent & detergent while also significantly reducing energy usage. In addition Dry Lube also creates savings by increasing line productivity, reducing product loss, doubling the lifetime of the conveyor belt, reducing cleaning & maintenance costs and most importantly creating a safer working environment for staff so reducing accidents and injury.

Environment

Are there any environmental advantages of the Dry Lubrication system?

The Dry Lubrication system is based on a departure from traditional chemical based detergent lubricants to a synthetic food safe lubricant. It means elimination of requirement for water consumption and elimination of waste detergent mix requiring disposal, because is no detergent needed.

Hygiene

There is nothing in the lubricant to promote the growth of bacteria. This will stop unpleasant odours following any weekend shutdowns etc. The LHP SCL lubricant is very sophisticated product which is 100% hydrogenated. This fact prevents any bacteria growth.

Will we need to increase our hygiene schedule?

Results have shown that cleaning the conveyors prior to installation of our system will result in a reduction in the hygiene schedule required for on-going cleaning. This is due to the fact that there is no build up of residue under the conveyors.

Health and safety

Are there any Health & Safety advantages of the Dry Lube system?

As the quantity of lubricant used is so small there is no residual lubricant on the floor. The Dry Lube System provides a cleaner, safer and more pleasant working environment.

Preparation for Installation

Will we need to prepare somehow lines before the Dry Lubrication system can be installed?

No, all necessary work will arrange our technicians. We recommend to install the system during sanitary shut-down.

Installation

What is the process for having the Dry Lube system installed?
Following an initial meeting to discuss the system and any particular bottle handling issues you may have, we will carry out a full survey of your line(s), design a system that meets your requirements, submit a quotation and install at a time that is convenient to you.

How long will it take to install the system?
All depends how big is the bottling line, but approximate time is 8 - 14 hours for one line.

Is there any necessary collaboration of employees during installation?
No, we just need to consult electric connection with customer's electrician.

Maintenance and servicing

Will the Dry Lubrication system leave any residue between or underneath our conveyors?
The lubricant used contains no solid particle additives therefore there is no build up between the links or underneath the conveyors.

Who will maintain the system?
LHP Industry will be totally responsible for all installation, maintenance and servicing work. It is also our responsibility to top up the lubricant reservoirs and do the cleaning of system. All service work is completely included in the contract and there is 100% guarantee during all the time of contract term (three years at least).

Is there a 24 hour emergency call-out service?
Yes, the phone number is 00420 605 882 559 and is marked on every system. However, the nature of the system is that, even in the unlikely event of a total break down of the pump, the lines would continue to operate for 24 hours before causing any production problems. LHP Industry guarantees technician's visit in 24 hours after problem is reported.

Will we have our own Dry Lubrication representative throughout the duration of our contract?
Yes. A point of contract will be assigned from the moment of the first meeting, throughout the installation process and during the entire time that the Dry Lubrication system is fitted to your lines. He will be also responsible for whole service and maintenance.

Health and Safety Certificates

The Dry Lubrication System has been tested extensively and is also certified by the National Sanitation Foundation International as a safe product in food, beverage brewing and dairy industries - USDA NSF H1 certification. (NSF International certifies products for food, water, air and consumer goods)
