Advantages and Benefits

Transforming working environment

The Dry Lubrication System has an immediate positive impact on slip, trip and fall incidents. Significant improvements in the working environment around packaging lines have reduced minor accidents from slips, trips and falls by up to 50%.

The Dry Lubrication System leaves no reside on the production lines. We have had examples of our customers not needing to clean their lines for two years.

The Dry Lubrication System does not support the growth of bacteria associated with wet lubrication systems. The result is our clients do not have to stop their lines for cleaning, the atmosphere is cleaner and the bad odour usually associated with these production lines disappears.

Protection against bacteria growth

Dry Lubrication system also prevents bacteria growth which is connected with wet lubrication. Our lubricant is very sophisticated product which is 100% hydrogenated in reason of suppression all active parts of molecules which react with oxygen or microorganism. According to this fact any bacteria growth is impossible.

Improving lines productivity, labor savings

The Dry Lubrication System reduced friction between the bottles and the conveyor. This has resulted in maximum reduction of falling bottles. One case study has shown an improvement of 20% since the system was installed. Because the Dry Lubrication System is clean our customers no longer have any downtime as a result of line cleaning.

Financial savings

As the Dry Lubrication System reduces friction between conveyor belts and wear strips the frequency at which the belts need to be changed has been significantly lengthen (in some cases the lifetime has been doubled). Case study has estimated savings at around €15,000 per annum, per packaging line.

Case studies also showed significant cost cut offs in the elimination of the use of detergent results in a cost saving of €37,500 – €90,000/annum. This is based on a consumption of 3,000m3/annum of water with 0.75-2% soap concentration with detergent priced at €1.5/litre. And a maintenance costs are reduced by at least €3000/annum per packaging line.

For a new line there will be capital cost savings as a result of savings in water handling equipment and reduced effluent treatment requirements. In addition, there is no need to install drip trays, soap storage areas or new effluent treatment facilities and associated pipe work.

Other savings shown by case study are made due to the reduction of treatment of effluent water and water discharge levies, it means €3,750 – €6,000 per annum.

Water savings

Bottling plants and food manufactures are increasingly coming under pressure to use water more sparingly. Customers using Dry Lubrication system have experienced a significant reduction in usage of water - over 300ml per litre of product.

Reduction of environmental impact

Because Dry Lubrication uses a food safe oil instead of a detergent based product we dramatically cut down on pollutants. Our own oil based product is used in such small quantities it leaves no residue.

Dry Lubrication system means there is no need to dispose of detergents and other dirty waters associated with wet lubrication. This alone is a significant improvement to the environment.
